About Us

Forever Grateful is an Australian not-for-profit social enterprise and film production company which aims to raise awareness of organ donation, as well as support medical research in cardiac health and organ transplantation through targeted initiatives and social propagation.

 

A passionate, cause-based organisation, Forever Grateful specialises in provocative and engaging story-telling for community, health, and social awareness campaigns that seek to effect change.

Forever Grateful was founded by Jayden Cummins, a heart transplant survivor who went into end-stage heart failure after a sudden bout of the Flu. Placed on life-support and in an induced coma for more than two weeks, he was eventually given an artificial heart (LVAD - Left Ventricular Assist Device). Jayden lived with that miracle machine for 436 days until finally receiving the call that would change his life forever.

 

Thanks to the incredible generosity of a beautiful stranger (and their family), Jayden now has the opportunity to watch his young son grow up.
